About
Meet Alan Franks
A Financial Planner Who Gets It
Hi, I'm Alan — a financial planner with a passion for helping people live their fullest lives through sound financial management. I graduated Cum Laude from Mercer University with dual degrees in Economics and Finance, and went on to become a certified financial planner (CFP®).
My journey into financial planning wasn't just academic — it was personal. I watched people around me struggle with the same questions: How do I get out of debt? How do I start investing? How do I make a plan that actually works for my life? The answers existed, but they were locked away behind jargon, fees, and minimum account requirements that put them out of reach for most people.
Why I Wrote Empowered Money
I wrote Empowered Money: The step-by-step blueprint to living your fullest life through financial planning because I believe everyone — regardless of income, background, or current financial situation — deserves access to sound financial guidance.
Most financial books are either too complex to implement or too vague to be useful. Empowered Money is different. It gives you a concrete, actionable blueprint for:
- Increasing cash flow and decreasing unnecessary expenses
- Building a financial fortress that protects your wealth
- Accelerating your wealth-building trajectory
- Eliminating toxic debt and learning to leverage other people's money
Work With Me
Beyond the book, I offer one-on-one financial planning consultations for individuals and families who want personalized guidance. Whether you're just starting to think about your finances or you're ready to take the next big step, I'm here to help.
My first consultation is complimentary — no pressure, no commitment. Just a conversation about your financial goals and how we might get there together.
